The Constitutional Convention met in Philadelphia in 1787 to re-write the Articles of Confederation. What came out of it was a vastly different document and set of beliefs. Analyze the primary source documents provided (Articles of Confederation, Federalist Papers number 10, 15, 16, 17, 21, and 51, and the Constitution of the United States) for their political innovation. You may look at the differences contrasting the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution. You may rather look at the impact of the Federalist papers on the ideas presented in the Constitution. Be sure to analyze the impacts the documents made on America going forward.
