Coronavirus Research Assignment:
This assignment is to help broaden your knowledge of the coronavirus pandemic.
Paper Criteria:
1. Information: Your paper should include the following topics:
a. Background history of the disease: who, how, when it was discovered.
b. Symptoms
c. Causes
d. Diagnostic process and techniques
e. Possible treatments
f. Possible preventions
g. Incidence
h. Prognosis
2. Paper Length: In order to cover the eight topics above, the paper should be of reasonable length. The
paragraphs should be constructed appropriately. Minimum page length of 2 pages but a maximum length
of 4 pages.
12 font, double spaced, one inch margins, proper use of grammar and spelling.
Cite all references in the text of the paper as well as a reference page.
Should include: Title page, Introduction, Body, Conclusion, Bibliography
3. Resources: Your paper should include information from reliable websites, scientific
papers, peer reviewed journals, and reference books. When using websites, ask yourself if the
source is reliable: Does the URL include edu, org, net, or gov? Who benefits from the site? Who supplies
the information?
