Create classroom guidelines for digital behavior in your classroom.

Task: Create classroom guidelines for digital behavior in your classroom.
Criteria:
Includes 5-10 guidelines with a description and/or student prompts for each guideline.
Guidelines should cover both digital literacy/research skills and digital citizenship skills.
Put the guidelines into a format that could be posted to your classroom wall (physical or digital).
Include a brief description of your product including the grade level it was developed for, how it will be introduced and displayed, and any other relevant information about the context (ie. developed for a bilingual classroom, developed for remote learning, etc.)
Guidelines should be put into your own words. If they are closely based on other guidelines, you must give attribution to your sources in the description.

Tips for strong classroom guidelines:
Use visual cues.
State guidelines in the positive.
Avoid guidelines open to interpretation and bias (ie. “respect others”, “do your best,” etc.)
Give students clear, specific information about expectations for each guideline.
Take a mentor, rather than a monitor, approach.
