APA format.
For this paper, you need to desciple the steps and activities taken to create a syllabus. Specifically, the syllabus that we have been working on for this course.
The course wascalled HCL 600 Healthcare Leadership which is a graduate level course. Our assignment was to create this course.
The course was desinged in a team setting. Keep in mind that there are other parts of the paper that will focus more on the topics. This is one is more on the steps taken.
Include the steps and IAMIS outline but each paragrpah or part will not have those specific headers. Compare our steps used for this syllabus assignment with the steps discussed in the reference provided.
Some areas to consider and focus on with regards to steps:
– Reviewing and understanding the syllabus and instructions for this assignment.
– Creating team norms that everyone had to agree upon and sign. That included the rules we will follow such as acceptable conduct, conflict resolution, and meeting times/dates.
– I want this in the format of IAMIS but is does not have have that in title of each paragraph. The format and working can just fit.
– Below are some thoughts.
– There were other assignmetns but there were individial. This just focuses on the team aspect. That can be a note in the papaer.
I – Identify: This along with identifying the course name, overall design, content, and other aspects. We had to identify when to meet. Identify who would be assigned diffent parts or take the lead on different parts of the assignment. We had to identify and agree to a team leader.
A – Assess: One of the first things we had to do was to identify and assess the strengths and weaknesses of each team member.
M – Make Decision: Some of the other decision we had to make were the idividial assignments, course contenct, if we were going to make this an 8 or 12 week course, essentially every aspect of the course. If the course was going to be online, in-person, or hybrid. We decided on hybrid. We also had to create a marketing plan for this course. We had an option of Powerpoint, video or pamphlet. We chose the pamphlet.
I – Impliment: One of the things that I can think of is that each part of the course, had to be placed in Moodle (the online system to deliver the course). We also implimented a text group and Microsoft Teams group to communicate.
S – Supervise: This is something that the team leader took responsibility for. In addition, each team member held each other accountable. We also asked for assistance from the professor when needed and referred back to the rubric to review “supervise” per say that we were on track.
