This week our topic is the creativity of Architecture. After you view the readings and video, you will embark on your assignment.
You may walk around your neighborhood, venture to a historical building, gallery, place of worship, office building, library, museum, a particular neighborhood or street, school, memorial, park, etc. ( You get to choose).
Be sure to take a photograph (the photograph must be one that YOU have taken, not one from a magazine or website).
Post the photo on the discussion board and discuss with us why this photo is special to you. What do you see?
Focus on the design, when was it built? Who was the architect or designer? What does it represent?
Every day when we walk around and go about our daily lives, we often forget to take a few moments to appreciate the architecture around us which can be so fascinating.
