Critical Reflection Project
For your final project, write an essay that links the themes covered in the last past three weeks of the course with QAnon, particularly in its main claim about a global “cabal” of elites who traffic in children, ritual abuse them in satanic rituals, and drink their blood and harvest adrenochrome from their organs. In other words, discuss three ways (no more, no less) in which ideas or themes from prior conspiracy theories relate to the claims of QAnon. I’m looking, in other words, for the influence of the former on the latter. You paper needs a clear introduction with a clear thesis statement, a body which contains the three points, and a conclusion that reflects on how connecting QAnon to prior conspiracy theories might help us to evaluate QAnon and conspiracy theories in general. There’s no one right answer I’m looking for; however, there can be wrong answers, due to factual inconsistencies or errors.
The paper should be between 1000 – 1250 words, no more, no less. If you fall outside these word count guidelines, you’ll automatically receive a grade deduction. A good paper will specifically reference course materials, including citations (you may use whatever style you like). The paper is due by the end of the day, March 4.
