designing lessons to develop students critical thinking skills. How are
each these examples consistent or inconsistent with the research you have
reviewed and concepts related to the teaching of critical thinking,
self-regulation and or metacognition?
Identify three specific events, or strategies
from at least ONE of the videos below which demonstrate developmental
appropriateness AND which help students develop critical thinking skills,
self-regulation or metacognition. Include these strategies in your ARRP .
Considering the factors that impact teaching and
learning of critical thinking, and the examples you have viewed, what
recommendations do you have for teachers who wish to improve the critical
