Although I don’t find the speaker very funny, and that’s what he was going for, his message is relevant. We live in a society where news comes in all kinds of formats. It’s easy to believe what you hear because it’s out there, published in some kind of format. To me, this talk strengthens the argument in favor of critical thinking.
ASSIGNMENT***So, the questions are: 1. Do you believe in critical thinking? 2. Do you believe arguments should be evaluated? 3. Do you believe there is ever a time you should NOT think critically? Provide examples and explain your responses to the questions.
