Cultural Competency Research Assignment
Each student will choose one of the NASW Standards and Indicators for Cultural Competency in Social Work Practice (see Unit 1 Course Materials). Choose a level of practice to focus on – Micro, Mezzo, Macro – and complete a 4-5 pages research-based essay that answers the following question:
• How do the values in practice and policy development shape a culturally competent environment?
• The paper should include 3-4 scholarly sources in addition to the NASW Standards and Indicators for Cultural Competency in Social Work Practice White Paper.
• Use the provided APA template
