Cultural & Historical Origins of counseling

In order to get points for discussing the textbook chapters, follow the directions below:

1) Original thought/idea:
Each week, post one original thought/idea from the textbook chapter(s) assigned using a website you find on the internet (you must have a working link to the webpage). Your posting should be at least 2 paragraphs in length (300-500 words required). Your postings MUST tie in concepts or terms from the textbook or another academic source. You should link the chapter content to subjects discussed on your website. These connections must be explicit; you MUST cite the specific terms and concepts from the textbook that support your position and statements. Include the author, page number, and paragraph as in-text citations (i.e. Wood, Wood, & Boyd, page 32, paragraph 3).
If you have a hard time deciding a topic to discuss in your posting, you may want to review relevant textbook chapters and look for connections to psychological and sociological concepts.
Each Unit, post one original thought/idea on the chapters assigned with a website that you find useful. You should link the chapter or website content to subjects discussed in this/previous courses and/or life experiences. Use of online magazines, Newspapers, and/or Website is not only acceptable, but required.
