In this assignment you will research criminal or judicial events that have occurred within the last three months and provided a brief synopsis on what occurred. You must following to current event from when it begin and if it has made its way to court (if applicable). You must then correlate the event with the current text book reading for the week.
Each current event topic paper must be a minimum of 2 to 4 pages. The vast difference in page count is due to the fact that some events a fresh while others may be stale. Please keep in mind that this is college level analysis and writing. The paper must use current APA style, and the page count does not include:
the title page
abstract (if applicable)
reference section
or any extra material
The minimum elements of the paper are listed above. You must use the following sources:
At least 2 recent, sources (past 2 years unless waived by professor)
The text book counts as 1 source, 1recent newspaper article (if you have doubts, reach out)
You may use .gov sources as your recent, relevant, and academic sources as long as the writing is academic in nature (authored works).
Again, this paper must reflect collegiate level research and writing style. If you need to go over the maximum page count, notify the professor for permission in advance!
