1.Curriculum Project Description Rubric
Submit the description (2-3 pages double-spaced) of the course you plan to design. Include such
information as the type of learner(s) the course will serve, the reasons you chose this project (why the
curriculum needs to be designed), where it will be offered, for how long, and the general course goals.
Use LCD: Chapter 1 Task 2 as your guide.
2.Curriculum Environment and Needs Analyses Plan and Report Rubric
This report will have two parts.
First, you will carry out an environmental analysis for the learners following the example in LCD: Ch. 2.
This part of your report will include the important environmental constraints, their possible effects on
curriculum design, and possible solutions.
Second, you will analyze the necessities, lacks, and wants of the targeted group of learners and/or
teacher(s) and submit a report. Use Tables 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 in LCD: Ch.3 to guide you. Your second part
of the report will outline the steps you took and will describe the results of the needs.
3. Course Syllabus Draft Rubric
You will begin by drafting the syllabus for your course, including such information as the course
description, the dates and times of the course, the goals, the schedule of topics (sequencing), and the
assessment plan.
4. Draft Unit Plan Rubric
Develop and submit ONE unit from the curriculum/syllabus in detail, including the specific objectives
of the unit and how they are met in individual lessons, the topics of each lesson within the unit, and the
assessment of the unit objectives. Note: Your lesson plans and materials (next assignment) will come
from this unit.
5. Lesson Plans and Materials Rubric

Create lesson plans for EACH lesson in the Unit Plan developed in the previous step. The lessons
should be written as simplified display lesson plans, keeping your stakeholder audience in mind.
Include detailed information about the learning activities and how they meet the enabling and
terminal objectives of the unit. In addition, all materials should be included and there should be
significant examples of created materials.
Once I have submitted all this, the next assignment would be expanded further but that would be another order in which I would send a bid within a month. .
