Cindy is working with Elwood Retirement Community Library. She currently tracks inventory using Microsoft Excel. Will she be better off if she created a database for inventory management? What are the pros and cons of the latter solution?
However, Elwood Retirement Community Library decides to hire a Database Analyst. As a recently hired Database Analyst, one of your first tasks is to create a database of borrower information. You need to use phpMyAdmin to create a database named ElwoodDB. The database should have a table named Borrowers with the following columns:

Borrower ID
First name
Last name
Telephone number
E-mail address

You are concerned that the result might include redundant information. Is this always a problem? Under what circumstances is it acceptable? Justify your answer with appropriate examples.
While creating a database, be sure to use appropriate column names and column types. In addition, ensure that no two records can have the same value for Borrower ID and enable the means to quickly search for records by e-mail address.
Take a screenshot of the table properties as shown in phpMyAdmin and submit your rationale for:

Specifying a particular data type for each column.
Specifying the size of data that can be entered in each column.
Selecting a column as a primary key.
Creating an index on a particular column.

Also, review the submissions of at least two other students in the class. Consider the following points in your review:

Are the data types assigned to the columns appropriate?
Is the size of data specified for the columns appropriate?
Are the appropriate columns defined as the primary key?
Is the index created on an appropriate column?
