Sometimes, we take shortcuts to help us understand how we view the world. I watched a discussion between philosopher Dr. Lewis Gordon and Dr. Hortense Spelling. They talked about Dr. Gordon’s new book, and had me re-thinking the idea of W.E.B. DuBois double consciousness. I had used to representativeness heuristic to make judgments.
