This paper will give you the opportunity to describe key points from the interviews that you completed with a professional who works with a specific vulnerable population(The Homeless) and an individual member of that population. You will share what you learned about the culture and lifestyle of the person you interviewed. In your paper, you will share your overall impressions of the interview/interviewee as well as the impact of poverty on the selected population. You will also discuss the significance these interview experiences had on you both personally and professionally. Evidence-based resources will be reviewed to help you discern various ways that nurses can collaborate with other healthcare professionals and patients to provide spiritually and culturally appropriate care to your chosen vulnerable population. You should also identify how nursing can assist in improving the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and/or spiritual health of this population.
Upon successful completion of the course material, you will be able to:
Discuss the efficacy of nursing interventions and strategies to promote the health of a selected vulnerable or impoverished aggregate.
Describe personal views of professionals who work with vulnerable individuals and of individuals within a vulnerable population.

Review the chapter(s) in Stanhope and Lancaster that relate to this population.
Write a four-page paper using APA format that addresses the following areas:
Summary of the interview with the professional
Summary of the interview with the member of the vulnerable population
Personal significance of these interviews—How have they affected you as a person?
Professional significance of these interviews—How have they affected you as a nurse?
Implications for nursing related to this population group—How can nursing impact the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, developmental, and/or spiritual health of this population.
