Discuss and analyze a major crisis in the world today (global financial crisis; international conflict; public health; or environment) from the perspective of one economic theoretical approach (liberalism, economic nationalism or Marxism). Describe the crisis. Define your approach. How did the crisis start? What did it lead to? From your standpoint (your economic theoretical approach), how can it be mitigated or solved?
2. Chapter 5: political science & international relations.
Describe the difference between a parliamentary system and a presidential system in a democracy, using real world examples. Contrast this with a non-democratic governance structure, giving at least one example. What are the implications for international relations between a democratic state and a non-democratic state?
