Journal #5 will be your reflection on your observation of diversity of the school. If you are physically observing a classroom use that classroom for this journal entry. If you are unable to observe a classroom then use a former school where you have worked or attended class. Use the school data by logging onto the state department of education website where you live. Describe the diversity of the school where you observe. Identify three areas in which the school is diverse.
Grading criteria for all written documents: Please see the attached writing rubric. ALL written assignments will be graded using this rubric. Please remember, these are graduate courses and a high degree of professionalism is expected, especially with regard to writing conventions.
