Paper Assignment Overview
This
assignment is the second and final installment of our Research Paper Assignment
series. Using the topic you developed through research earlier in the term you
now have an opportunity to synthesize and present the information found in your
approved list of articles. In doing so you will realize the value of effective
examination of scholarly articles. You will also begin to develop a greater
understanding of the value and importance of your topic in the field of
Biological Psychology. Finally, you will have an opportunity to briefly examine
your topic in light of a biblical worldview perspective. The process we have
followed in this series is one you are likely to find useful in future classes.

For this assignment, you will:
Include the following main
sections (level 1 headings) and sub-sections (level 2 headings):

Introduction: describe your
topic and explain its importance. End the introduction with the purpose
statement for your paper.
Literature Review

The Research Review is
based on the 8 (or more) articles identified earlier in the term. As a
reminder, this was the selection criteria:
The articles
must be selected from the JF Library. All 8 must be from peer-reviewed journals
published within the past 5 years. At least 6 of the 8 should describe original
research. Each article must support your research question and purpose
statement.

Biblical Worldview
Integration: What does scripture say about your topic? Please provide
depth/detail here. This section should include approximately 250-500
words.
Conclusion: Bring the various
concepts together as you describe the discoveries you have made, identify
strengths and weaknesses, and indicate possible directions for future
research.

guidelines within the following structure:

Adhere to these guidelines
related to mechanics/structure:

All lines of the paper must be
evenly double-spaced.
Use 1” margins on all sides.
Avoid the use of a
first-person perspective (I, me, my, we)
Do not include direct quotes
(except for brief quotations from Scripture). Instead, re-write in your
own words to demonstrate your understanding of the information. Of
course, a citation is needed to identify your source even if you have paraphrased
the content.
Include an appropriate
citation to identify your source(s) whenever you include information that
is not considered common knowledge.
Check your work carefully to
eliminate spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
Ensure a logical and clear
flow by including appropriate transitions between sections.

**In the

Cognitive Impairment and Depression document is all the references you need for the paper. I will need 8 pages total NOT including the Title and Reference page. I will worry about those 2! No abstract needed for this one either.

You will NEED to include Scripture in your writing. Perferably 2 verses through the paper.
