This project will help students identify healthcare topics that will be of interest to them for research.
Objectives:
Consider a health or issue trend and illustrate with data
Develop your Research Proposal Step-by-Step
Understand the cyclical stages of the research project
Become familiar with the various research methodologies specific to
Health Sciences
Understand how to formulate a hypothesis
Understand budget considerations of cost/benefit concerns of research
Describe the function and interrelationship of a research problem, purpose,
and sub-problem.
Critically evaluate credible information pertaining to health sciences trends
and issues
Differentiate between basic and applied research
Instructions:
Step One: Using our Online library or scholarly sources through the internet, determine five health topics that would be interesting to you, and why, to complete a research question.
Step Two: Once you have found five health topics, present each topic on its own slide in a PowerPoint presentation. Your slide should include the topic and rationale for why you believe this topic would be interesting for research. The overall presentation should have 7-10 slides.
