Goal
As a child grows, their nutritional requirements change. Their development plays a part in how they are able to eat and drink. There are also cultural and family influences on nutritional choices and mealtime rituals. This assignment focuses on a nutritional plan for a toddler taking into account developmental skills.
Guidelines
Plan a day of nutritious meals and snacks for a toddler. Identify the age of your toddler, the meal times, foods, and fluids – along with serving sizes and approximate calories. Include how you think the toddler will eat the food based on developmental miles stones – i.e. finger food, fork, spoon, sippy cup, etc.
