the order listed below but the final essay needs to be a well-flowing essay that does more

sure to use page numbers for the book citation and the last name of your review author

1. Name and describe the intervener (the author and the newspaper or website
sponsor of the review) and the intervention (the restaurant review)
2. Describe the system: Who and/or what is to be included in the system? (You
decide this). What is the system like BEFORE the intervention takes place? What do the
people in the system care about? What are the attitudes and values of those in the system
BEFORE the intervention?
Body of the Paper:
3. Describe intervention. What is your entry point (attention, power, or need)? What
are the tactics, strategies, and maneuvers used (see chapters 4 and 5)? Describe the
intervention, in its parts and whole and how the one subsystem you used as the entry point
also changes the other two subsystems. This means, if you used attention as the entry
point, then talk about how power and need are also affected.
4. Finally, talk about how the intervention potentially affects your system. What is
the system like, potentially, AFTER the intervention?
Conclusion
5. Wrap up your main argument(s) and tell how this helps you to better understand
the persuasion process and techniques people employ to persuade.
