the title of your essay
the date you submit your essay.
This essay must be written in proper, prose, style with the proper use of:
sub-headings (e.g., Introduction, Conclusion)
paragraphs containing properly constructed sentences
As with any essay, lists can be used where appropriate, however, this essay cannot be written in point form.

The Essay Requirements:
Describe your current perceptions (i.e., your opinions) of the practice of management – i.e., what you think management is and what do you think managers do.
Provide an example (hypothetical examples – your perceptions/opinion) of both:
‘good’ management
‘bad’ management
based on your descriptions offered in part 1., above.
Provide one example, with reference (source(s) must be provided) to one existing organization (e.g., for-profit, not-for-profit, charity, non-governmental), and that can be used as an example of ‘good’ management, or ‘bad’ management, according to the examples you offer in part 2., above. (Since all students have online access to The Globe and Mail newspaper – its daily editions and its archived articles – there are several examples of the management practices of businesses – good and bad; current or historical – reported in it.)
