Describe your experiences and initiatives to foster and promote diversity and inclusivity in your environment and the impacts of the stated endeavors.

This is a synopsis of a diversity statement I wrote:

Although I am not a part of the LGBTQI+ community I have family and friends that identify as LGBTQI+. I believe
that everyone should be given a fair chance in life regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.
How you identify in life does not dictate the quality of a person that you’re and should have no bearings on whether
you receive an opportunity whether it’s within an academic, workplace, or any other setting. I stand with diversity
and feel that as human beings it is our responsibility to be upstanding citizens and to help one another. I value
diversity and inclusion, as well as integrity among everything and I, will continue to support inclusion throughout
my time at the University.

I am a part of the Alpha Psi Alpha’ Kappa League program where they instill diversity, inclusions, and volunteerism in us from a young age. I’ve been a part of the program since I was in middle school and I am now a senior in high school.

This is a scholarship essay: I’ve been writing so many essays for college acceptance that I’ve been getting into schools, but I am tapped out on writing scholarship essays and need some assistance.

I am also a track and field athlete and the current team captain and hurdle captain.
