Describe your interest in your topic: why did you choose this subject? Why do you find it interesting?
Give an overview of your research question and your three-part thesis.
Present your three major arguments, giving a summary of the evidence/statistics/opinions that inform each argument.
Use visual elements to enhance your presentation. Possibilities include: PowerPoint, Prezi, Keynote, video clips (2 minutes maximum), illustrations/diagrams.
Each of your three arguments must include some quotation or statistics. However, don’t overload each slide with data. Remember that your classmates (and professor!) must be able to read the slide while you are presenting.
Any statistics or quotations that you include in your PowerPoint must contain attribution (IN MLA, 8TH EDITION) of their sources IN PARENTHESES, ON THE SAME SLIDE
If you use video clips, be sure to comment on them, before or after, so that your audience understands their importance.
