Describe your sample of police managers here.

The final paper should be 15-20 pages, double-spaced with 1″ margins using 12pt Times New Roman font. At least 15 (that means 15 or more) peer-reviewed, scholarly articles should be incorporated into the paper. APA publication style should be used for in-text citations and the reference list. You may choose to write about only one of the questions asked in the interview or select multiple topics from the survey. However you choose to write up what you learned from the police chiefs, the paper should follow this format:
Introduction: Identify the topic and its importance, and give a roadmap of what will follow so the reader knows what to expect. (This “roadmap” can be as simple as listing the section headings in the paper.)
Literature review, drawing from peer-reviewed, scholarly sources
Brief methods section: Identify that you conducted interviews with five police managers, and identify how many were conducted via telephone and how many were conducted via Zoom (or other video conferencing tool). Describe your sample of police managers here. Were they all in the same area or spread across PA? Were they all men? Did they mention their race? How much experience did they have as police officers and as managers (report the mean, median, standard deviation and mode)? How else can you describe your sample? Which question(s) from the interview will you focus on in this paper?
Results: Summarize the themes in the responses. Did most seem to talk about one thing? Did one say the opposite? Describe that here.
Discussion: Connect your findings to the literature. Are your findings similar to one or more articles? Are your findings different from one or more articles? How so? Mention that here.
Are there any weaknesses to this study? Small sample size, of course. Anything else?
Recommendations for future research: What suggestions do you have on how to improve this study for future researchers?
Policy recommendations: Based on the results of these interviews, what suggestions do you have for policy? Training? Hiring? Anything else?
Conclusion: Summarize the main points of your paper in one or two paragraphs. What should the reader take away from this paper?
