Paragraph 2: Describe yourself in terms of an identity or identities that you perform in everyday life. What specific bodily actions or behaviors do you perform in association with an identity/ies? Do you switch identities to fit different social situations? Have you experienced times when your performance of a particular identity failed or didn’t perfectly match up to your perceived ideal? Have you ever taken on a new or unfamiliar identity? Why? What did you have to change about yourself to fit the new identity?

Are there specific audiences in your life who support your performance of a specific identity? Or, on the other hand, are there audiences who discourage you from performing a specific identity?
