Crime Research
This project is worth 50 points of your total grade. The paper should be typed (if possible),
double-spaced, and should be between 3-6 pages long.
Research a crime (a famous crime, a crime in the news
recently, etc.). Describe the crime
(when it took place, where it took place, etc.), persons involved, outcome of
the crime for all parties, etc. Assuming
the crime occurred here in Kentucky, use the Kentucky Revised Statutes to
determine what charge the individual would be charged with as well as what potential
penalties are at play in the case?
Explain why you choose this charge.
Explain what police techniques could have best prevented this crime from
occurring.
