Develop an essay on how these observations have enhanced your understanding.

First of all this assignment is a second try, the teacher asked me to re-do my essay because it was incomplete (see teacher feedback below and my first essay attached).

Assignment instructions:

Please view the following video. (See link at the end of instruction with citation)

Think about what you saw in the video and how the infant gains skills in both fine and gross motor development as well as perception, observe two infants between birth and three years of age, with at least 6 months difference in age. Think about what you observed the infants doing in the video and see how the child you are observing is using each of the skills presented in your text and in the video. Be sure to observe how the child is using their fingers, wrist, arm, shoulder, foot, toes, leg. Rather than seeing the child was able to walk, observe how the child is developing balance, lifting one leg, moving the arms, how the ankles are turned, etc. Discuss what you have learned from observing how the child used their motor skills.

After your two observations, reflect on what you have seen and how they link to what you have learned in this module. Develop an essay on how these observations have enhanced your understanding. Cite specific examples.

Clarification for Child Development Essay sequence (the teacher posted this announcement for all the students as there were some details that were left out of the assignment instructions. I’m pasting this here to help understand better what needs to be done).

Read and view all that is offered in module 5. We are asking for you to observe physical development and consider the infant’s understanding of depth perception and developing gross & fine motor development. & Think about what you observed the infants doing in the video & see how the child you are observing is developing or using each of the skills presented in your text, in the video and from the lecture pages for support. If it is possible to observe a real child to compare to the video in illustrating what you’ve learned THAT is optimal. (Look ahead to Mod 6 the Piaget Tasks are to perform on real child.)

Teacher feedback to my first submission.

If it is possible to observe a real child to compare to the video to illustrate what you’ve learned all the better.
