Goal
Completing the Lifespan Developmental Paper earning 70% or higher is one of the student learning outcomes for this course. It must be turned in or the student will not pass the course. Therefore, it is essential to complete the assignment.
The paper has been divided into sections for you to work on to stay on track for turning in your paper on time. For this section you will turn in body sections 1 and 2. I will provide feedback on the document or in the comments.
Guidelines
Submit the body (sections 1 and 2) for your paper. The best way is to write a paragraph for each topic within each section. You could even use section headers.
Body:
Address the following topics in detail FOR YOUR SPECIFIC CHOSEN DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE:
Section 1
Provide a basic/overall description of the age group you have chosen.
Describe the typical changes in physical growth that take place.
Discuss heredity vs. environment as influences on growth and development (give at leat 2 specific examples for heredity and 2 specific examples for environment) your developmental stage).
Section 2
Explain the nutritional needs and the effect deficiencies in nutrition can have on growth and development (provide at least 2 specific examples for nutritional guidelines and at least 2 specific examples for what occurs if there is a nutritional deficiency).
Briefly describe Freud’s Psychosexual theory of development.
List 2 defense mechanisms a person might use and give an example for each according to the developmental stage.
Peer Review
For the body sections of your paper you will peer review 2 other student’s introductions content to provide feedback, support, and suggestions. Not only will this help them, it will give you an idea of where you may or may not need to make revisions to the body sections of your paper.
