Goals and outcomes go to “Western Tradition I” pg vii-x.
o one of these goals/outcomes should be an area that is not considered
a strength, but rather an opportunity for improvement.

to the group’s shared inquiry process in Seminar discussions, using specific
evidence from informal and formal writing assignments, actual class
discussions, experiences of reading, reading or discussion notes, and
feedback from your peers or professor.
● explore how some aspect of the course content (e.g. a specific text, a theme, a
question) has impacted your writing or contributions to discussion in class.
The self-reflection essay is an opportunity to look back on your experience
in Seminar, consider your growth as a Seminar student, and chart a path for
continued development. What were your initial impressions of or assumptions
about Seminar? How and why have they changed, if at all? Discuss a particular
moment or series of moments that changed your perspective on Seminar or your
understanding of the Seminar method. How have these changes manifested in your
behavior and practice of the Seminar method or in your writing? Give specific
examples.
