Final Paper Purpose: This paper will demonstrate the student’s ability to identify the three CSWE competencies that they achieved in this class, the corresponding practice behaviors, and the products that led to their achievement. The student will discuss how they will apply these skills in their future social work practice.
Final Paper Skills: The purpose of this assignment is to reflect on three CSWE competencies and discuss how you have met those competencies in this course, how you will apply what you have learned to your future clinical social work practice, strengths you discovered in your work as well as areas for improvement, and to reflect on three takeaways of how research informs practice. This exercise will also provide an opportunity for the development of graduate-level writing and critical thinking skills.
Final Paper Product:
A cover sheet in APA format (not included in page count)
A 5-6 page paper that:
Includes three sections; one for each of the three competencies you are discussing. It’s recommended you dedicate 1-1.5 pages to each competency you are discussing. (cite CSWE 2015 EPAS: (https://www.cswe.org/getattachment/Accreditation/Accreditation-Process/2015-EPAS/2015EPAS_Web_FINAL.pdf.aspx) Attached is the document as well.
Discuss how you have met each competency in this course
Allowable items would be your discussion posts (be specific, which one and why does this meet the competency), CITI certificate, literature review, measurement tool paper, peer presentation, readings, discussions, ect.
Discuss how you will apply what you have learned to your future clinical social work practice
Discuss strengths you discovered as well as areas for improvement (at least 3 strengths and at least 3 areas for improvement)
Discuss three takeaways for how research informs clinical practice
This paper should include at least 3 references.

Finally, papers should be submitted to grammarly.com and all grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors should be corrected prior to submission.
Students may quote the competency they are writing about, and this must be followed by an in-text citation with the page number from the CSWE EPAs document (for example: Council on Social Work Education, 2015, p. 8).
