The Academic Article Critique Assignment is designed to identify and assess an issue or problem that is relevant to the course topic. For this assignment, students will select a relevant academic article from a peer-reviewed journal and critically analyze the author’s viewpoint to include a succinct critique of the problem or issue described in the article. The article selected should have been published within the last 10 years. The Academic Article Critique Assignment will consist of at least four (5) pages (excluding title page, references, figures, illustrations, or other extraneous elements outside the main body of the paper). Students will format their paper using 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and double spacing. Students will use at least 5 references (Wikipedia, non-legitimate peer-reviewed websites, or blogs CANNOT be used as a reference). The structure of the assignment must include the following sections and mandatory headings:

Introduction
Description of the Problem or Issue
Analysis and Discussion
Conclusion
References
