This is going to be a research proposal for my Bachelor Thesis.
The topic I want to research about is the development of interior lighting design around the last 150 – 200 years. I want to confront the different epochs with each other and especially
focus on what kind of interior architecture changes have been made
regarding the development of lighting fixures. Starting artifical light sources like candles, gaslamps, fireplaces etc… I want to finalize my bachelor thesis with the current status and developments of light. As a result i want to implement as an example the newest revolution ”biolumenescent plant light” and how the optimal apartment would look like. Therefore there is a need to research what importance biophilic design plays in the development and needs of bioluminescent plants.

My goal for my bachelor thesis is too have the most important epoches analyzed regarding their lighting fixures and interioir architecture. So that I can rebuilt with the reserch content 3D interior spaces of the different eppoches and being able to easily put them next to each other to see the differences or similarities.
