Discuss and analyze Army of the Dead using concepts and theories drawn from the readings.
Use at least one other film as supporting / contrasting evidence.

An analysis of the film(s) in terms of cultural events of the time period, i.e., how do the film(s) reflect or represent events or fears of the time?
A comparison/contrast of the films in terms of symbolism and meaning, i.e., how are they different or similar in how they use zombies to convey meaning?
Be sure to examine the films—especially Army of the Dead—in terms of a particular element based on the readings, i.e., socio-economic issues, fear of the speed at which the world is moving, capitalism, religion, terrorism, consumerism, family units, power, race, gender, illness, fears of any of the above or of Others, immigration… etc. If we discussed it, if it’s in the readings, you can talk about it.
You must use at least three readings.
