Assignment Objective:
Develop a proposal for taking ethical action.
Overview:
In order to apply what you are learning in this course, you will be taking an ethical action that is meaningful to you during the time of this BUSN 30 course (not previous to the course). This assignment is in three parts and is outlined in the syllabus on pages 10-13. In module 2, you will submit a proposal for what you plan to do and the evidence you will provide and submit it as a “course assignment.” I will provide feedback on both your proposal and the evidence you will submit for completion. In module 3 you will write a discussion describing the action you plan to take. In module 4, you will submit clear evidence you have completed the activity and a final report. The final report in Module 4 will only be graded if a proposal has been received and approved in advance in Module 2.
Steps:

Describe the specific ethical action you plan to take. See examples of ethical actions on pages 10-13 of the syllabus. Think carefully on something that you will not only receive significant credit for but that is meaningful to you. Whatever you propose, stay safe and healthy.
Describe why you selected this action.
Describe how the action(s) you are planning relate to ethics and to this course. This should be the longest section of the proposal.
As relevant, include the name of institution, a website link, and a contact name and number.
Identify the date do you plan to do this or have this completed. The final report due 11/14 so it must be done before then.
EVIDENCE REQUIRED: Describe the specific evidence you will submit along with the report that you completed this activity during the time of this BUSN 30 course beyond your statement of completion. Examples of evidence include: a copy of a letter you wrote to legislature with a screen grab of the submission and response. For example, if you donate to Goodwill and interview an employee, in addition to the final paper, you will submit a receipt for the donation and a verifiable phone number of the individual you interviewed that I am able to contact as I do spot check.
