Compare Canada with other countries with respect to cultural theories and viewpoints as they relate to ethics in international business
Analyse differences across cultures in perceptions, interpretations, and attitudes that might affect how individuals work in another country

You will write a movie critique and review of “Gung Ho or American Factory” highlighting in some detail various examples from the movie that support Hofstede’s theory of cultural values and dimensions. Using examples from the movie, give examples that support each of Hofstede’s dimension values for North America. Make sure to explain clearly how your example is consistent with the value assigned.
Phase 1: Research (You may begin your research first by checking in your textbook then use the internet)
In your review you should be able to answer/discuss the following:
What are the 5-6 dimensions of value Hofstede was discussing?
How is each dimension identified in the movie?
Cite specific examples of culture and how it is consistent with that particular dimension value
Compare North America to the Japanese/Chinese culture in the movie
What are the various cultural differences between North American companies and Japanese or Chinese companies?

Write a critique and analysis focusing on cultural dimensions and differences
Include a title at the top of the paper with your name
Include a works cited page that references the movie (the chart on the following page)
Include information comparing North America to Japan/China in terms of culture
