Discuss and support the physiological and/or cognitive ergonomics assessment tools selected for your Case Analysis.
In research, the methodology describes the rationale for the application of specific assessment tools, procedures or techniques used to identify, select, and analyze information. The methodology section of a case analysis answers two primary questions: How was the data collected or generated? And, how was it analyzed?
For this assignment, you summarize your methodology draft, which explains how you will collect the data (I will observe the person on a day of work), and how you will analyze this data (i.e. what assessment tool or protocol will you apply and any adaptations you will make to the tools). (REBA, Washington State Risk Assessment Checklist (WAC), Lifting screening tool) are the tools i will be using)
The intent here is to share ideas, resources, and suggestions with peers, which will be used to write phase 2 (methodology) of your analysis.
Remember to consider both physiological and cognitive ergonomic tools as appropriate for your system.
