The three questions are:

1. Truvada, the brand name of the original drug which is used today as HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), has been available in the United States since 2004. Should we still refer to PrEP as an innovation in 2023? If so, how would PrEP fit into our “Typology of Innovations” (Incremental innovations, Disruptive innovations, Modular innovations and Architectural innovations) framework? 2. All four models of the innovation process seen in the files provided can be criticized for underestimating the role of culture in the success or failure of an innovation. Discuss why cultural factors might be important (or not) for the success or failure of PrEP as an innovation, and support your arguments with appropriate evidence and sources.
Discuss with reference to Rogers’ and Moore’s theories of diffusion and adoption. Who and what could facilitate the further uptake of PrEP among relevant target groups?
