During January of 2011 a shooting occurred inside of a police station in Detroit, Michigan.
Your assignment is to write a college level paper covering the following topics:
Detail the incident as it occurred by discussing what exactly happened, when and where
Write about the suspect – who was he and what was his possible motive
Write about the victims of the shooting – who were they and what is their condition
Finally, use your critical thinking skills to tie it all together. What actions would you take as the Police Chief or top administrator within the Detroit Police Department? Discuss this in terms of immediate actions you would take as well as long term issues to address in terms of developing and maintaining a relationship with the community.
