As we continue to see cases of COVID rise across the United States, there is an increased risk of bankruptcy and negative margin projections for hospitals. According to the AHA, within 2020 more than 3 dozen hospitals entered bankruptcy.
How can our nation/government better protect hospitals from going bankrupt at this critical juncture?
If you were in charge of making key decisions to mitigate bankruptcy at your hospital, what would be some policies or things you would consider to reduce risk of closure?
