Then complete a comprehensive succession plan for one of the leaders on the CEO’s executive team. The CEO has asked that you create a report that will be reviewed by senior leadership and the Board of Directors. In this report outline the following:
Identify the key position
Conduct a position analysis
Develop a succession plan for that position (include your use of mindfulness, dialogue, and collaboration during the development of your plan)
Discuss how the succession plan will be monitored, evaluated, and revised as needed.
The YouTube video will give you information on what is required for each step. In each step discuss how you will accomplish this for the given role and the organization.
Mechanics: This assignment is to be submitted as an academic essay. You are required to reference the readings and articles that provide evidence of effectiveness for your proposed plan. Give your paper a title, a brief introduction, and a conclusion. Adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines for citation and references. The paper needs to be five pages (not including reference and title page), typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 point font, 1″ margins.
