Discuss how to identify a study topic, formulate a research question and relevant objectives, select a corresponding methodology and organize a literature review. Furthermore, the course includes ethical considerations in academic research and the principles of how to cite and give reference according to Chicago-style citation and reference system. Students are expected to write and present a research proposal that includes the following sections: Introduction, problem statement, literature review, methodology, project timeline and references. The research proposal will be the basis for the preparation of their bachelor thesis that students will be writing in the following semester.
The topic I want to write about is about biolumnescensse plants light, that is being developed a lot in the last years. Especially important in this research propasal is to built up a connection to interior architecture. For example:
– how can it be intergrated into our homes
– what kind of problems can arise (how the green light can influence us or are we sitting in the future just in green rooms?)
– what kind of benefits (suitanability, lest eletricity costs, etc…)
– is it going to influence interior design and the choice of materials
– Is the light going to be bright enough to replace articial light?
