Guidelines
It is your responsibility to decide groups. I am not involved in deciding groups and will leave that to you all to choose. Groups are not mandatory; you may complete the assignment by yourself if you prefer.
All group members’ names must be written on the final submission. No more than 3 students per group.
Choose a publicly traded, well-known company with which the average person is familiar. This makes it easy to look up how many units they sell and their costs of units.
If the company produces many products, only choose one. For example, since Apple produces iPods, iPhones, iPads, laptop computers, desktop computers, you just have to pick one. However, consider all products the company produces when thinking about substitutes, complements, change in demand, etc. They could all factor into the changes on the product you choose to focus.
Draw a proper supply and demand schedule showing equilibrium price for one time period.
Draw a supply and demand schedule showing change in equilibrium price resulting from changes in supply or changes in demand for a future time period.
Discuss some of the market and industry challenges the company faces and how that impacts their income and expenses.
Provide your opinion on this company’s future success and sustainability.
Note any other relevant information about your company that demonstrates concepts covered in ECN150.
The paper must be written in proper APA format citing all sources appropriately.
