During the election of Abraham Lincoln, he saw the civil war as” a new birth of freedom.” The beginning of the civil war was that it opened the people to new things happening. The civil war was not about the soldiers or the weapons, but it is about the humanity and the human freedom. Slavery is the central role that I feel played the most in the Civil War. With the Southern leaders are trying to resist the Northern leaders to block the expansion of slavery in the western plaaces.
