Descriptive versus Experimental Design
Based on the problem statement and literature review from assignment 2 (revised), describe a method for carrying out a study using a descriptive design as explained in chapter 6. Next, describe how you would study the same variables using an experimental or quasi-experimental design as explained in chapter 7. Choose a data collection method that would allow you to compare treatment and control groups. Lastly, compare and contrast the internal and external validity of your two designs (descriptive versus experimental). Use the template below to organize your response. Length should be approximately 8 pages, or 5 pages beyond assignment 2.

Sampling method and assignment method (i.e., will you randomly assign participants to conditions, and if so, how). I assume your target population will remain the same, however, your accessible population may vary based on the more stringent procedure for an experimental study.
