Discuss the history of the criminal justice system in the United States. The paper
will conclude with a listing all the references you have used. Writing more pages will not necessarily
enhance your grade because more is not actually better. Quality is important, not length. I’d rather have five good pages than ten
mediocre pages. So, write smarter, not
longer.
Good
research is the key to a good paper. Hit
the library early and run down as many references as you can before you begin
writing the paper. Know what you are
going to write about rather than start writing and then do research to back up
what you have already done.
While
speaking of research, I will accept Internet references but only from
professionally reliable sources such as peer reviewed articles or books. There are a lot of things out there on the
net that are not only incorrect but absolutely wrong. Just because you find it written by someone
on the net does not mean it has any validity.
