For this assignment, you will identify a workplace conflict that you are now experiencing. Address the following in a presentation:
Provide a brief description of the conflict. (Note that you should strive to be as unbiased as possible in this description; consider yourself a video camera recording the situation.)
Consider how cultural norms may be impacting the conflict.
Discuss the impact that the conflict has on leadership’s decision making.
Describe specific techniques that are most useful in reducing or overcoming the particular problem behavior. (Note that you should use specific terms and concepts presented in the module.)
Present a summary of leadership de-escalation strategies that provide oversight for the conflict and turn the challenge into an opportunity.
Postulate the potential negative and positive impacts that your techniques may have on resolving the conflict.
Assignment Requirements:
Create a slide presentation with a 6-7 minute narration, or video presentation using your smartphone, webcam, or other video/audio recording tool. The option to use audio/video is your opportunity to practice and demonstrate the important leadership skill of oral presentation, which is a skill preferred by employers.
Your well-crafted presentation, must include 5-7 slides, including audio, and be 6-7 minutes in length. Review the grading rubric for this assignment, to understand exactly how you will be graded. It is preferred that your presentation be a video, but you can do a PowerPoint presentation with narration.You will find resources focused on helping you create your visual presentations in the Visual Presentation

Option #2: Reflections on Resolving Work Conflict
For this assignment, you will identify a workplace conflict that you have researched. Address the following in a paper:
Describe the organization and share its URL.
Briefly describe the conflict and make sure to use at least two different sources, such as a newspaper article, a scholarly article, or a trade (business) publication. Do you detect differences in the accounts of the conflict?
Outline the steps in the de-escalation technique used; highlight the benefit of each step in the process.
Identify the conflict resolution or negotiation processes that were used.
Highlight the advantages and disadvantages of the approach.
Describe why you believe the approach was successful or unsuccessful.
What was the end result of the conflict? Analyzing the conflict, what might have been handled differently and by whom?
Assignment Requirements:
Your paper should be 4-5 pages in length, not counting the required title and references pages.
