Based on the Research Methods to date where the literature was reviewed, a specific research question/hypothesis identified, and ethical concerns considered, you are now required to design a research proposal based on this work. The research proposal should include a critical review of the current literature relevant to your topic, clearly stating your aims and objectives. Your proposal should include an Abstract, Introduction, Method section (including details on study design, selection criteria, recruitment , participants, interventions, measures, and proposed method of analysis) and Discussion, where you will discuss the implications of your anticipated finding in relation to the practice of counselling and psychotherapy. You should also consider any limitations of your study and its implications for future research. You should evidence your awareness of the complex ethical and professional issues relevant to research and good practice in psychotherapy.
