As a reminder, Barrio Health Center received over $12 million in funding but did not adequately manage its financial statements or record allocations of that funding. As a result, HRSA has asked Barrio Health Center to return the grant money. If the health center does not want to return the money, they will work with HRSA and other programs to trace funding or establish proper financial systems.
