An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to various books, articles, and documents. For this assignments, only peer reviewed articles are to be used. Each citation is followed by a brief (about 250-300 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. In addition, a discussion (about 100-150 words) on how structural bias, social inequities and racism undermine health and create challenges to achieving health equity at organizational, community and societal levels within the article should be included (Competency D2-2:6).
Each citation should include the following:
o Reference in APA 7th edition formatting. These should include DOI#s. Do not include your search criteria link.
o Descriptive and evaluative summary of the research article. What were the research study purpose, methods, and discussion highlights? This should be at least 4-5 sentences in scope and breath.
o Your reflection or critique of the article. This should be at least 2-3 sentences with details.
o Discuss the means by which structural bias, social inequities and/or racism, depending on the topic presented, undermine health and create challenges to achieving health equity at organizational, community and/or societal levels. This should be at least 3-4 sentences.
